Return and Refund Policy
Thank you for shopping with Scandiscents. We strive to ensure you are completely satisfied with your purchase. If for any reason you are not, please review our Returns and Refund Policy below.
1. 6-Month Warranty
All electronics purchased from Scandiscents are covered by a 6-month warranty from the date of purchase. This warranty covers manufacturing defects and malfunctions under normal use conditions.
- What’s Covered: Manufacturing defects, hardware malfunctions, and other issues arising from normal use.
- What’s Not Covered: Accidental damage, misuse, unauthorized repairs, or damage caused by external factors such as liquid spills, drops, or electrical surges.
2. Returns
If you are not satisfied with your purchase, you may return the item within 30 days of the purchase date for a full refund or exchange, subject to the following conditions:
- Condition: The item must be in its original packaging, and in the same condition as when you received it, including all accessories, manuals, and components.
- Proof of Purchase: A valid proof of purchase is required to process any return.
- Return Process: To initiate a return, please contact our Customer Service team at contact@scandiscents.com.
If the above conditions aren't met for the returned item(s), there will be a restocking charge of £10 which will be deducted from the refund amount. Returns outside of the first 30 days after purchase, will not be applicable for a refund.
The consumer must ensure there is not an oil connected to a diffuser when posting a return back to us. Not doing so will result in a £15 deduction from the refund value.
Our free returns policy does not apply for non mainland UK or International orders. (exclusions apply to these, please see full terms for more information)
Any damages or discrepancies need to be reported within 7 days following the date of delivery in order to receive a replacement or refund.
3. Refunds
Once we receive and inspect your returned item, we will notify you of the status of your refund. If your return is approved, we will process your refund to your original method of payment within 7-10 business days.
- Shipping Costs: Shipping costs are covered by Scandiscents in the event the unit is under warranty (see coverage above), however if returning due to our 30 day money back guarantee, shipping fees are non refundable.
- Restocking Fee: A restocking fee of £10 may apply for returns that are not due to defects or errors on our part.
4. Exchanges
If you need to exchange an item due to a defect or if you prefer a different model, please contact our Customer Service team. We will guide you through the exchange process.
5. Warranty Claims
If your product experiences issues after the 30-day return window but within the 6-month warranty period:
- Contact Customer Service: Reach out to us at contact@scandiscents.com to report the issue. Please include your order number, name and a description of the problem.
- Repair or Replacement: Depending on the nature of the issue, we will either repair the item or replace it with a new or refurbished unit of the same model. If the exact model is no longer available, we may offer a suitable alternative.
6. Exceptions
- Non-Returnable Items: Certain items, such as consumables may not be legible for refund such as Oils
- Pre Loved Items: Items marked as “Pre loved” are not eligible for return or refund unless defective.
